Monthly Newsletter | September 2021 | Volume 28
Dear Readers,
We are glad to present to you the September 2021 edition of the school 360 Newsletter.
With a sharp decline in the Covid-19 positive cases, the pandemic appears to be receding, thereby increasing the possibility of schools reopening in September. In fact, various state governments have decided to reopen the educational institutions in a phased manner from September 2021. Standard operating procedures (SOPs) have been released to this effect by prominent educational organisations and state governments. However, online or distance learning will continue to be an alternate mode of learning.
In this edition, we have included topics covering the reopening of schools, launch of key initiatives of NEP in August 2021, the concept of virtual school, Bombay High court’s directive to the Maharashtra government regarding fee-issue, the signing of agreement between the Delhi Government and International Baccalaureate board for a new state board and fresh guidelines issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority.
I hope you will find this edition of the newsletter informative and enrich us with your feedback
Thank you.

On Aug 12 Maharashtra Govt has issued resolution on 15% fee cut for the academic year 2021-22 for all schools of all boards and all mediums. The state was temporarily restrained by the Bombay High Court from acting against private schools in case of their refusal to abide by the Aug 12 resolution of fee reduction.
The state has also been asked by the HC to respond to the petition against the Aug 12 government resolution (GR), filed by the Association of Private Schools. The petition challenged the resolution on the ground that the government neither amended the Fee Act nor passed any ordinance before issuing GR. According to the GR, schools which had received full fees from students had to either refund 15% of the fees or adjust the same towards the next instalment of fee. As per the GR, complaints in cases of disputes should be filed with the divisional fee regulatory or the divisional grievance redressal committee a...
