Dates and Pattern for CBSC board Exams 2022-23

For the academic session 2022-23, the class 10 and 12 board exams will be conducted by the Central board of Secondary Education (CBSE) from February 15, 2023 onwards. The last date for completing board exam registration for classes 10 and 12 was August 30 and the deadline for submitting list of students was Aug 31, 2022. Some major changes in relation to the exam pattern was announced by CBSE, the largest and most popular Education Board of India.

To prepare for any ‘unprecedented situation’ that could have risen due to Covid-19 pandemic, the board had conducted 2 sets of term-wise examinations for the 2021-22 session. It has been decided by the board to do away with the term-wise examination pattern and conduct only one board exam in 2023. The marking scheme will also change with the board reverting to the traditional once-a-year exam pattern. Pre-pandemic marking scheme will be followed for the 2023 board exams.

Syllabus reduction of 30% for students of class 9 to 12 has been done by the board. For all information regarding new curriculum, sample question papers, marking scheme, and question bank, students can check the official website - cbseacademic.nic.in.
