This centre, acclaimed for its transformative impact on education, has garnered attention from dignitaries worldwide, including the Prime Minister of India. Embraced as a global best practice by the World Bank, the Vidya Review Centre has attracted interest from other developing countries seeking to emulate its success.
Notable visitors such as Janet Yellen, US Treasury Secretary, and Ajay Banga, World Bank President, underscore its significance on the global stage. With a robust data collection mechanism, the Vidya Samiksha Kendra processes over 500 crore data sets annually, employing advanced technologies like big data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to enhance student learning outcomes.
The centre meticulously monitors online attendance for all 1.15 crore students and 4 lakh teachers in Gujarat, facilitating data-driven policy decisions and improving education quality. Gujarat's Education Minister, Praful Pansheriya, emphasized the state's commitment to ensuring education reaches every village, supported by World Bank loans. As representatives from over 20 countries visit, Gujarat emerges as a beacon of educational innovation, poised to implement the New Education Policy effectively. The Vidya Samiksha Kendra stands as a testament to Gujarat's strides in education, with the potential to inspire similar transformations globally.
