Dharmendra Pradhan: Make PM’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ a Public Movement

The fifth edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ (PPC) event will be hosted in offline mode by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on April 1, 2022. It will be held in Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi at 11 am. Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, has sought participation from all in this event.

PPC was termed as a ‘public movement’ by Dharmendra Pradhan, who emphasized on the importance of this year’s event due to the exams shifting back to offline mode after the Covid-19 pandemic. He highlighted the significance of initiatives like PPC in establishing the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century.

The minister said that PPC is on its way to becoming a formal institution of direct interaction between the Prime Minister and students. Select students across the nation will watch the event in the presence of the state Governors in Raj Bhawans.

As expressed by Pradhan, Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement ‘Exam Warriors’ initiated by Narendra Modi with the objective of creating a stress-free environment for youngsters. Bringing all stakeholders - parents, students, teachers - together to foster an environment which celebrates, encourages, and allows expression of the unique individuality of each child, has been the aim of the Prime Minister’s efforts behind this movement.

During this annual event, the Prime Minister answers all questions related to exam stress and related areas, raised by the students. He will present appreciation certificates and self-written Exam Warrior book to participants selected through competitions on MyGov.

PPC will be streamed live in India, as well as in other countries reaching out to the Indian diaspora. Pradhan solicited support from media in making this program a mass movement.
