The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the much-awaited date sheets for the 2024 Class 10 and 12 board exams. Candidates can access and download it from the official websites, cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in. As announced before by the board, the exams are scheduled from February 15 to April 10. The release sets the stage for focused preparations and strategic planning. As the dates have been unveiled, students can now chart their course for the upcoming examinations, bringing a sense of clarity and direction to their academic journey.
The following major changes have been made this time around: exams are expected to be given in one shift, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.; and the same will be held twice a year, beginning from the 2024-25 academic year. It is not required that any of the over 35 lakh students set to appear in the exams sit for both sets in the year, confirms Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The move is solely to reduce testing pressure and provide students a chance to improve their scores.
This timely disclosure of the date sheets not only aids in logistical arrangements but also acts as a catalyst for heightened academic fervour. As the countdown to the exams begins, the entire educational community is gearing up for a period of dedication and diligence. CBSE has already released sample papers to help students get used to the exam style, time limits, and difficulty level of questions. Students are encouraged to approach their studies with determination and resilience.
