Monthly Newsletter | June 2023 | Volume 46
Dear Readers,
We are glad to present to you the June edition of our newsletter School360!
The Central Board of Secondary Education recognises the importance of self- assessment as an integral part of its schools' review and improvement plan. Thus, to assist these schools in measuring how they are performing in different domains, the board developed a quality assurance framework called Central Board of Secondary Education Student Quality Assurance and Accreditation, also known as SQAA.
The purpose of SQAA is to enable CBSE affiliated schools to assess themselves against a set of benchmarks and standards, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action accordingly. The framework covers various aspects of school management, governance, teaching-learning processes, infrastructure and facilities, student support services, community engagement and so on.
In this edition, we have included these topics : What is SQAA and how does it work?, Delhi Education Minister launches report on arts curriculum for underserved students, 10 new Sanskrit schools soon to be launched in UP, UP schools to adopt revised NCERT books; No lessons on Mughal courts, UGC frames guidelines to start courses on Indian heritage to attract foreign students and Maharashtra State school education department to recruit 30,00 teachers.
We hope you will find this edition of the newsletter informative and enrich us with your valuable feedback.
Thank you.
