The CBSE has entered into a collaboration with the All India Council for Technical Education by signing an MoU. The collaboration is for teacher training and skill enhancement. Notably, the AICTE is currently organizing several programs for skill enhancement of the faculty and the students of the institutes of technology.
CBSE is aiming at the fulfillment of the NEP objectives, therefore it is looking to create opportunities for the development of problem-solving and critical thinking at the school level, and is looking to train teachers accordingly.
CBSE, in collaboration with the Innovation Cell, AICTE, Ministry of Education, has rolled out the ‘Innovation Ambassador Programme’. Under the program, the teachers that teach in the CBSE affiliated schools across the country will be given modular training. The five modules that will compose the training include
1. Design Thinking and Innovation
2. Idea generation and Ideal hand-holding
3. Intellectual Property Rights
4. Product / Prototype development
5. Finance, Sales, and HR
