FICCI Organizing Annual Conference on School Education

The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is the oldest and largest business organization in the country. FICCI ARISE (Alliance for Re-imagining School Education) is an initiative comprising of stakeholders who represent various facets of school education. The vision of FICCI ARISE is to become a catalyst in government and private efforts for raising the quality of learning outcomes across schools and to ensure that no child is deprived of education. The motto of their annual conference – School Education Conference 2022 – is “Reboot, Re-imagine, Rebuild”, and will be held on December 9 – 10 in New Delhi.

Systemic changes are required in the education sector to build future-ready schools, and these necessary changes will require involvement of all stakeholders – Government, Industry and Society. These changes will help develop an ecosystem that prepares students to face the future with confidence and resilience, that encourages innovation and promotes sustainability in the long-run. The COVID pandemic already accelerated transformational change in many areas of society, including the education sector, and the beneficial ones have to continued and strengthened further.

This conference aims at collecting solutions that can help K-12 schools to work together with the government in driving future-oriented teaching and learning. Around 500 delegates representing state and central government officials, regulators, educators, consulting firms and institutions, are expected to attend the conference.

During the conference, Master Classes will be organized on School Improvement Framework and School Safety and Child Protection. These classes are directed by world-class experts with proven contributions. This year’s conference also offers participants an opportunity to visit top-ranked schools in Delhi/NCR region and learn successful pedagogical tools and practices from them.
