In a recent announcement, the government of Maharashtra shared that the state school education department would soon recruit 30000 teachers in different districts of the state, following the existing reservation norms and interviews.
According to sources, the recruitment drive will start possibly by the beginning of the new academic year in June this year.
As referred by the state education minister, Deepak Kesarkar, the state is also planning to recruit another 20,000 teachers in the second stage.The minister also stated that the exact number of teachers to be recruited in the second phase of this recruitment drive would be finalised after the Aadhaar verification of the students was over.
