He mentioned that a lot of students prefer English-medium schools, specifically in tribal areas, resulting in lower registration in government institutions. He said that the state is investing a lot in government schools than in many private schools.

She also stressed that there is a firm decline in school dropout rate and reconfirmed the government's dedication to encouraging girls to continue their education in the state. He said the government has established various initiatives to keep girls in school and assist them in becoming self-reliant, describing child marriage as a substantial social issue.

The government has broadened its free bicycle distribution event for Grade 9 girls by removing the family income qualification limit as part of these attempts, letting more students benefit. The state plans to offer free bicycles to nearly 41,800 Grade 9 girl students throughout Tripura during the current financial year.
