Relief for 1,000+ Students: Why School Affiliation Matters More Than Ever?

CBSE has restored the affiliation of Uttarakhand Public School in Noida, which brought great relief to 1,100 students. The board had called off the affiliation a few months ago because of violations of its bylaws. Students can now continue their education without disruption, terminating weeks of doubts before the new academic session based on the recent order.

Restored Affiliation with Warning

CBSE released a strict warning to the school administration and guided it to completely follow all affiliation guidelines while backing up its earlier determination. The board mentioned that it will track the school closely and may enforce inspections at any time to ensure compliance.

The board had called off the affiliation on 18.2.2026 after a court intervention. More than 1,000 students were unsure about their academic future, and an inquiry has affirmed allegations related to the exploitation and harassment of female teachers.

Parents Protest Against This Decision and File an Appeal

CBSE took this conclusion after holding broad discussions with officials, considering concerns raised by parents and evaluating representations from the school management. Many parents had urged that the authorities protect their children’s education, opposing the earlier conclusion. CBSE published a new directive, sanctioned by the board chairman, overturning the February order after reviewing the matter in detail.

Removal of Earlier Restrictions

CBSE had allowed Grade 10 and 12 students to finish the 2025- 26 session at the school to avert disruption. Still, it had instructed students of Grade 9 and 11 to transfer to nearby schools by 31.3.2026. The board had blocked the school from including new students or encouraging existing ones to take these classes. CBSE has removed all these constraints, letting the school restart normal academic functions under the new order.
