Interactive Flat panels, the Most Recent Replacements for Traditional Blackboards

A misconception that is prevailing in the education sector is that students learn everything that is being taught by the teacher. But the reality is that students only imbibe 13% of the knowledge in the class and rest is forgotten when they are back home. The responsibility is on the teacher’s shoulder to convey the idea or concept of a subject in a precise manner to students. They should also ensure that each and every child present in the class understands it thoroughly. The communication and interaction between teacher and student is what makes the classroom effective and innovative.

The technology has also diverted the classroom scenario from blackboards to smartboards which is a smart way to enhance student -teacher relationship. In the changing times, the smart or interactive classrooms are becoming the standard for quality education. The best thing is these boards come up with high quality which is truly impressive. Besides, there are other benefits which adds up to its worth.

Prior to that, lets figure out what makes school opt interactive classrooms in the first place or how does it fit in education. The interactive classroom replaces the traditional blackboards with smart boards which displays the combination of touch screen with educational facility on it. It gives more emphasis on collaboration, creativity and flexibility in the classes which definitely allows teachers to prepare their lessons in any way possible.

In the modern times, with the rise in smartphones, tablets etc. youth seems to be disoriented with the new pedagogical ways of learning. Some of the newly introduced technologies are not yielding educational productivity when it comes to student engagement.

The smart boards are mainly to increase the interaction between students because the traditional method displays students as passive listeners which is a hindrance towards their development.

If the student engagement and scores are down the only option that is left for schools is to move with the times and adapt to the ongoing trend. Interactive classroom makes day-to-day tasks like lesson planning and collaboration easier and more viable.
